Changing weather, changing patterns
from year to year

Moments accelerated and the winds grew strong
Tornado of signs, flashed before our eyes.
You couldn't say you didn't see it coming
but even if so
that overwhelming feeling, made for its presence a place to belong.
That overwhelming feeling is what brought us to our knees
crouched below the small school desk
hands clasped behind our necks
fear pulled our foreheads forward
to the Earth in desperate prayer.
Dear Mother, we entered through you
in the same position you find us now,
we feel the strong winds growing
we don't know, if they'll pass above
or carry us
through the next doorway
it could be time, to enter now.
